Review: Neutrogena UltraSheer Liquid Daily Sunblock

Recently we took our three children to a baseball game. It was a bright, sunny day in the low 90’s, and I knew without question we wouldn’t get a seat under cover. What better test for Neutrogena UltraSheer Liquid Sunblock? Bright sun, the very real chance that I’d be sweating profusely, and at least two hours with the summer sun beating into my face.

My first reaction was that of interest. The product itself seems thin, but absorbed almost immediately into my skin. It was light and greasefree, and to be honest I wasn’t sure that it was going to work. I suppose I’m of the mind that if I don’t feel it there (heavy, greasy, annoying) then it probably isn’t doing anything. I did not put any makeup on that day, but I’m sure that it would have gone on smoothly!

We spent nearly two hours behind the pitching mound, in glaring sun. I didn’t burn (or so much as freckle!) and I never got the sunblock sweats (you know…when the stinging liquid pours into your eyes, making you curse having ever put it on your skin?)

I have to say, for a first try I’m impressed. Its light, easy to apply, absorbs quickly, and left my skin softer and more hydrated. I can’t wait to try it in some other environments!
